Of course higher caste hindus can get outraged.
Temples require money and many upper castes are not generous in contribution.
If temples have to be maintained well some commercial actions might hurt the sentiments of upper caste.
The OP says:
''When contacted, locals living in the area surrounding the temple also alleged that wine and non-vegetarian
food were served in the temple hall, breaking the temple protocols as even onions are deemed unfit to be
used for cooking in Vishnu temples, as per the Saatvik diet prescribed by the aagamaas (religious scriptures)
for preparation of prasaada in Vishnu temples.''
This is atrocious, whatever be the caste / religion of the wedding party! It has to be condemned!
There should be, Renu. But such events happen because the authorities are just money minded!Isnt there guidelines?
Out here in Msia....marriage hall that belongs to temples..even if it outside of temple complex..Non Veg and Alcohol is not allowed.

The officer claimed that all allegations about temple sanctity being violated was just a conspiracy by ‘Brahmin vested interests’. He also said that the HRCE rules do not prohibit use of temple-owned ‘commercial property’, such as the marriage hall, by non-Hindus.
Hindus know how to grin and bear anything happening around them! :fish:
Hindus are taught tolerance and hence they become e-vAys!!

We have voted yogi adityanath in UP.
He will protect Hindu culture.
He will build Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Jai sri ram
I support this post.LOL
During the past sixty plus years after Independence, we have been voting for one or the other every time and what have they done for protection of Hindu culture?
Yogi Adityanath is not a magician to transform everything in no time.
Leave alone Ayodhya, we have umpteen number of temples to visit and pray.
I just remember the movie PK and the interest exhibited by the members to protect our Hindu culture here....LOL
சத்ரு சம்ஹார காலபைரவருக்கு ஜெய்
People of UP are learning to become vegetarian as slaughter houses have been shut down. Govt order to shut down was only for unlicensed ones.
Some action is being taken against roadside Romeos.
This has lead young men to look for other occupation on the roads.
I still recall the interesting film of Richa chadha -Masaan set in varanasi .
The burning ghats and life of Doms and those looking for punya by bathing in polluted ganges left an impression on me.
Extremism of any sort with religion as the reason does not help anyone.
Inquilab Zindabad is an Urdu phrase which translates to "Long Live the Revolution!" Its first use by a revolutionary was in 1929 when shouted it after bombing the Central Assembly in Delhi. It became one of the rallying cries of the Indian independence movement. The famous slogan was given by and inspired the activities of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association particularly Bhagat Singh and his comrades. The famous slogan of Indian freedom fighters Inquilab Zindabad was coined by Hasarat Mohani himself. In Indian political novels chronicling the independence movement, a pro-independence sentiment is often characterized by characters shouting this slogan.
