A normal one anybody will give as reply. Give work to ur thinktank.Just name a child Narayana and call the child Narayana! Narayana! when we are on death bed..directly we would go to Vaikuntha.
This is no vague answer...Its Ajamila Syndrome from Puranas.
Who or what is the "man"?
If it is the body then everything is wiped out at death.
If it is the soul then nothing is attached to it.
Aham Brahmasmi: (Sanskrit: अहं ब्रह्मास्मि aham brahmāsmi) "I am Brahman" I am Spirit Soul.Brahman means: spiritual, and aham-brahmasmi means: I am a spirit soul. I am not this body."The symptoms of the self-realized person are given herein. The first symptom is that he is not illusioned by the false identification of the body with his true self. He knows perfectly well that he is not this material body, but soul, the Supreme Personality of Godhead."

Translation of Bhagavad Gita 8.5
And whoever, at the end of his life, quits his body, remembering Me alone, at once attains My nature. Of this there is no doubt.

Narayana!
Normal reply?
How can you say this?
This is the only reply...there is no greater saving grace than total surrender to Narayana!
Even while just calling out his son named Narayana...that too indirect contemplation on Narayana..yet Ajamila got saved.
So why think too hard..just chant Narayana Narayana and nothing can go wrong..recite Narayana and hear your heart echo
Tu safar mera, hai Tu hi meri manzil
Tere bina guzara, ae dil hai mushkil
Tu mera Narayana, Tu hi duaa mein shaamil
Tere bina guzara, ae dil hai mushkil
Translation:
You are my journey, You are my destination too,
to live without You, O heart, is difficult.
You are my Narayana, and You are in my prayers too,
to live without You, O heart, is difficult.
to support further your point, this one will help you
"Aakashaat patitam toyam yadha gachathi saagaram,
Sarva deva Namaskaram, Keshavam Prati gachati..."
Translation: The way water falling from skies is guided to Ocean,
Namaskarams offered to any diety goes towards Keshava only...
.
OMG! Then are we advocated to do sins and get rid of them by doing pradhakshinam + namaskaram?
Not at all good for the society. I think Garuda Puranam is THE best! :first:
"Aakashaat patitam toyam yadha gachathi saagaram,
Sarva deva Namaskaram, Keshavam Prati gachati..."
Translation: The way water falling from skies is guided to Ocean,
Namaskarams offered to any diety goes towards Keshava only...
NB hope I got the translation right, BTW my expertise in translation is little poor.
It seems you are the only person dedicated to save Hinduism I am not making any profit. I found flaw in your answers, Hence the outburst from u. Are u a Brahmin?Imrpsji,
I am so sorry, that with people like you to mislead ordinary Hindus, Hinduism is doomed.
Instead of educating and uplifting them from ignorance, people like you profit from duping gullible people. If they were alive, Great Rishis like Vyasa, Sankara and others must be disappointed that Hinduism has come under the influence of Abrahamic religions.
Knowingly or unknowingly every living being is set to commit sin if taken birth on this very earth. They do good acts too and earn Punya ( sorry I couldn't find opposite word for sin in English) as well. Those Prayaschitams /Pariharams suggested in our Vedas are for the Sins committed unknowingly or as a compulsion in doing your duty (eg. a Hunter killing animals, Soldier killing other soldier in a war etc..) So what I mean to say is you cant escape from Sins if you are born on earth. I am not sure, whether the Prayachitams will do away your sins but believe will definitely reduce its ill effects..
they will attain punya renukaji
renukaji
Do not hurt imprs's business of those performing Homam and taking the gullible for a ride.
They are a requirement for brahmin community who do not know how to live without homams.
At the drop of the hat, they get readily into homam mode.
