While driving I heard this song played loudly from the overtaking Tourist coach from Rajasthan speeding towards Rameswaram

"Ayee Diwali Ayee Diwali"
This I am hearing nearly after 60 years or so. It was a hit then When hear that now I have a feeling there is a song in Tami almost in the same tune.
"ஆண்டி பண்டாரம் உனை வேண்டி கொண்டேனே "
May be I am imagining I am not sure. Can any one be of help? Jambu:violin:
