அப்படி ஒரு திட்டம் வந்தால் ஆட்சிக்கு அவர்கள் வருவது உறுதி . 51% vote bank கையேந்தும் வர்கம்தான். அவருடைய மக்கள் psychology அறியும் தன்மை யாருக்கு வரும். ஒன்று ஜாதி, மற்றது பணம். ஒட்டு மொத்தமாக தமிழ் நாடே கையேந்தும் காலம் விரைவில் வரும்.

This is probably the first announcement from a political party, though not official. We may expect similar interesting announcements from other political parties as well.

I shall vote for a party candidate whose election manfesto says>
1.we are not secular,but support majority Hindus in this state and shall not sideline minorities in governance.
2.we shall include by category a new economic advantage to all Brahmins
3.Our party believes in God and has deep respect for traditional culture of all citizens of TN.
4.we shall uplift all citizens irrespective of caste,creed,religion and region economically with a monthly support of Rs.5000 till they become economically sound as per the general yardstick. The BPL will be redefined to serve the purpose.
The only party fits into this agenda is BJP, but they will not form the Goverment. It does not matter for me but I shall exercise my franchise to create an awareness for good governance free of hurdles of caste and money politics to usher into a dawn on a zone ensuring safety ,security and all round happiness to citizens of TN.
NB. I must check the voters list first.

With Aadhaar getting constitutional legality we can expect more such fund transfers to the poor! This will elimiate the middle man and will help them to go up the ladder!

During the Tirumangalam bye election (in which M K Alagiri from Madurai was in charge of DMK campaign), a unique way of disbursing money to the electorate was tried. The DMK booth agents collected the mobile number of each voter. The talk time for each mobile number was topped up for amount ranging from Rs.200/= to Rs.500/=. No need to carry money and get caught by the flying squad (as done by Dayanidhi Maran in Pondi bazaar during the last MP election). Alagiri is always thinking out of the box. I am sure during this election, all of us will get our talk time topped up, soliciting our votes.

I don't understand one thing. In India, offering or receiving bribe is an offence by rule. How come political parties are allowed to offer such freebies to attract voters. Some one offers free TV, some offer free lap top, some other free cycle, the list is end less and now "hard cash" . Have we reached the height of bribing voters ?

Where were you so far? So many elections and bye elections went by so far and many have raised your perception in many forums including Election Commission. One leader reported to have said "accept the bribes from other candidate but vote for him".He promised some freebies post election if he comes to power,voters have reached a stage of Ph.D. in receiving bribes for vote.Even our Parliament was caught napping in cash for vote issue. IT IS THE VOTERS TO BE BLAMED, NOT THE POLITICAL PARTIES.

People, rich or poor, prefer money or material over mobile top-up. Will mobile top-up solve hungry problem? Can it be trasnferred?
