Dear Sir,

Men also had to compromise! {I forgot one main criteria in the list given in my earlier post, (viz) age!!}

Many tall guys got married to short girls and very handsome guys to not so pretty, dark girls!

Of course, women had to adjust to more shortcomings! I know one neighbourhood mami, my

friend's MIL, who got married at her tender age, as the second wife of a polio affected man.

She wanted to outlive her her bitter half, at least for 10 years and so she did so 15 years!!
