Today the crow outside my window was singing a song on why he has no hatred..he claimed he heard this song from a cuckoo that stays outside Vaagmi ji's window?

From where that cuckoo learnt this song..I dont know!LOL

Ok anyway here is what Mr Kaaka said:

1)Never hate anyone cos there is no one in the world whom we actually like besides ourselves.

2)We do not realize that we actually only like people to like us.

3)We also expect others to be like us and anyone different we might start to hate.

4)Many think by hating someone who is"bad" that is being good.

5)There is no bad nor good cos both are intense situations with equal reaction only moving in the opposite direction.

6)Learn to accept that differences can exist and we need not hate anyone being different.

7)Learn to accept that evil too can exists and we need not hate evil.

8)Learn to accept that evil too shares equal space in the universe.

9)Good has never triumphed over evil and neither has evil triumphed over good...both come and go in cyclical phases.

10)Its we humans that take sides and expect victory on only one side.

If you are wondering if there is any more reasons why we should not hate...kindly add on to make it more than 10.

Dear Renu,

Very easy to decide. Please read the following lines:

1. Hatred makes a person frown and love makes a person smile.

2. Some claim it takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile.

Make life easy with a smiling face, by NOT hating anyone!

Regarding 2, I was wondering why Ms. Jayalalitha (AIADMK boss) never do things to please anyone but just make others fall at her. She not even worry if anyone likes her or not...

When one is angry - a) doing a lot of shouting b) ridiculing c) sounding sarcastic - don't it make one feel good and take off pressure from them... :-)

Shouting makes one lose massive amount of energy and the blood pressure and heart rate goes up..too much adrenaline and cortisol release..so no use shouting..its detrimental to health.

Ridiculing too is not much of use..its takes us no where and only makes tempers fly.

Being sarcastic is an art by itself..for example recently one relative who does not like me was imposing some rules on me asking me to only be present to a place in the mid day and not in the evening cos she says she does not like to see me when she comes there in the evening after 7pm!

So she got one of her jalras to convey this message to me and I told that Jalra that I can understand that some forms of life only can come out after dark cos sunlight makes them burn into ashes...so I do understand her situation and do not worry what time I come and go as long she does not get exposed to sunlight.

So you see without losing my temper the other person got pissed mad with me!LOL

Sarcasm can be fun for those who deserve a dose of their own medicine.

One post from Jayashree is not here! Anyway, I pondered over the points given by her.

It is not possible to love everyone around us because there are a few who are not our well wishers.

But, hatred is stronger than dislike, I guess.
So, we need not hate anyone; we can just keep off from those whom we dislike! :peace:

Word Hatred refers to our attitude. In my experience in normal. Life , I found major attitudinal behavior between Tamil Brahmins &that of northern. If you seek some help from a North Indian---known intimately or not would welcome you &listen & then just say Hojayega/ meaning can be done .same thing with we people, firstly we would look the Guy with doubtful loOk & if the other person is not looking satisfied with the basic attitude to talk, our man may venture to comment like this ---- a Sir, you ask some favor & then turn your face & walk away ? We lack normal Courtesy towards others, no open mindedness Am I wrong

Sir,
Even for me that is too much of generalization.
I have lived around Northern and Southern Indian, there are all kinds in every regions of the world. It just depends on the people you meet.
Sometimes others act depending how they perceive you.
Give others a fair chance, you can always walk away after that.

For some weird reason, I thought my points were not really valid, so I deleted them.

Here is a summary of what I posted --

Hatred develops from genuine dislike of others' actions, owing to them being unreasonably selfish, gossipy, making use of you for your money and other assets, etc. But there are also genuine cases of hatred stemming from jealousy and insecurity. While the latter scenario should be addressed and be warded off, it is rather difficult to not feel hatred towards other genuine reasons for the same. To not hate under any circumstance thus becomes the gift from god to saints and sainthood.

Yes, we should all train ourselves so that we do not hate anyone, but can simply stop at a reasonable dislike of truly exhibited bad traits.

Dear Jayashree,

Hatred is not a good feeling; dislike is a better option. If we dislike something, we keep away from it; for example pavakkAi, for Ram! :D

In our village, there is an alter in the famous MAsANiamman temple and people grind red chillies to get punishment from the Goddess

to their enemies! Somehow, I never used to like that idea. Why should we pray for the downfall of someone, even though they are our

enemies? Just keep away from them and be  !
Those who know us well will never believe the gossips against us and if someone believes it, keep away from them too! Easy!! :couch2:

Rajiji again too many people you have to keep away. Then there may not be many people left to call your friend.
There is saying
Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.

Jaya anf Vijaya too chose to be enemies to be near to Vishnu.

Dear Prasad Sir,

Not to worry! There will be lot of friends around because if we do good to people, we will be in good books of at least 50% of them!

Mostly, people who are jealous of our virtues turn as our enemies and start spreading gossips about us! Just ignore them!!

BTW, the wish of Jaya Vijaya is because
the 'enemy' will surely be in their thoughts for 24 X 7 X 365.25 !! :)

Too frequently hatred and dislike stems from the fact that we do not recognize our own shortcomings.

It is rightly said ''குற்றம் பார்க்கின் சுற்றம் இல்லை''!

If we keep on finding fault with others, we will neither have family circle nor friends circle. :(
