Shaivism does not believe in avataras. However atleast 19 divine manifestations are considered 'amshas' of Lord Shiva, Shri Hanuman being one of them. Please see in this link all these 19 avataras:

I wonder why this thread is so silent?

If any thread linked to Lord Vishnu or Vaishnavaism become active over night but threads related to Lord Shiva hardly become active.

But whatever said and done Lord Shiva is Super Stylish.

Like the lyrics of a famous song:

May be someone should compose a Bhajan praising Lord Shiva's good looks and stylish personality.

Lord Shiva has a nature that can be easily pleased and can also take a violent turn and break into a Tandava.

I like how He battled with Arjuna in a one to one fight disguised as a hunter and also how He verbally challenged Adi Shankara in the Chandala episode.

Lord Shiva is a fighter all the way...yet all loving. He is also the Superb Brain who gave Panini the Maheswara Sutrani.

He is simply amazing and happening ..totally cool and hot at the same time.
