He is an elderly Sasttigal and he is very humble, polite, accomodate and above all almost punctual. Though I am a Sri-vaishnava Iyengar from TN, I request him to come and do some functions at my home, because I am of the belief that the Veda & Shradda are more important for vedic rituals than sampradaya, though it should not be alienated, and we should engage and encourage lesser rich / poor (financially) Vedic Vadiyaars / Sasttigal.
Anyways, these are individual's options.
