Hello, Namaskaram I need clarification on celebrating my mother 60th birthday. We based out tamil brahmin and 60 years completing for my mother. Buty father is expired 5 years before. So my mother don't want to celebrate her 60th birthday. However my relatives suggest to do homam by having vathiyar. So i am confused since my father not there whether for my mother I can celebrate or it's wrong. Kindly guide me.
