Smartwatches are a bit of a niche category, and currently, Android Wear Smartwatches are the best of the bunch for the most part. However, iPhone users don’t have access to any good Smartwatch, except the Pebble, which while offering great battery life, seems a bit long in the tooth.
Now a developer named Mohammad Abu-Garbeyyeh has found a way to trick Android Wear Smartwatches to work with iOS devices. Basically, using the iOS Notification System as a pipeline along with a special App, he is able to deliver notifications to his Android Wear Smartwatch.
What do you think? Are you eagerly awaiting Android Wear compatibility with iPhones?

It does work, though only barely. Currently, only SMS Messages are supported for notifications and the rich contextual Cards and other notifications aren’t available now, but they probably will be in the future. Google may perhaps announce official support for iOS in the future, and it would be much more smoother than the hack Mohammad has proposed. What do you think?
