Today is Aani Thirumoolam.

Srisailesha Dayapatram Day.

Aani Kettai Jyestabhishdkam happens in Sri Rangam. Next day Aani Thirumoolam.

Eedu Kalashepam by Swamy Manavala Mamunigal happened over a course of one year. It is a detailed 36K padi commentary originally narrated by Nampillai, stopped during that time since Thiru Vilakku Pichan found Periya Perumal standing and listening to it.

Continued and completed by Mamunigal after return of Namperumal to Sri Rangam after Kalbha Kalam.

During this period all utsavams were kept in hold.

On completion of the year long Eedu Kalashepam as a acknowledgement of Swamy Manavala Mamunigal's efforts Namperumal narrated the thanian in the form of a young boy and disappeared.

This completes the Guru Parampara Haram where the first Acharya Sriman Narayana (Namperumal) listens to and accepts the discourses of Swamy Manavala Mamunigal the youngest in the Guru Parampara) on Thiruvoimozhi and offers a song praising his efforts.

Since it has been recited by Namperumal himself the thanian has a special ettram and is recited as the opening invocation of any chanting. 🙏🙏
