AirAsia India unveils'The Pioneer' aircraft with livery dedicated to JRD Tata

AirAsia India on Saturday unveiled its fourth aircraft with a livery dedicated to JRD Tata as a mark of respect to the pioneer of civil aviation in the Indian sub-continent. The aircraft has been christened as 'The Pioneer'.

it is nice of air asia to remind folks of jrd. now that the airlines which he built and nourished is in the dog house, and probably needs a decent burial. still cannot figure out why the government still wants to keep it and bleed thousands of crores every year.

i have always felt that every employee should be given a decent severance and pension, the airline and its assets sold and someone with enterprise and imagination revive the maharaja symbol and the service that went along with it.
