Hello sir,

My periyamma (my mother's elder sister) passed away today(13-Jun-2016 - 1.30 PM IST). She have no children.

Her husband is alive but almost freezed due to long term sickness. He did not realizing his wife's death too.

Her elder brother and other karthas (periyappa side) refused to do the last rituals.

So my father, as advised by sashtri he done the cremation activities today by getting "pul (dharbai) " from deceased's husband (my periyappa).

My father will be doing second day activity also.

My worry is now, there is no one to do her 10-13 days (nithya vidhi karma) activities..

My father says, if he do these 10-13 days activities then he should be doing monthly and yearly Sradham... is it so?

So can be advise me is there any way to do this 10-13 days nithya vidhi karma or compensate this...

Note: I am in london now, i also a kartha, but since i have parents alive sashtri told not preferred.
