Some time ago we reported about the Apple Watch’s dissapointing Battery Life, pegging it at upto 4 hours of screen on time. Now Apple has an event dedicated to the Apple Watch on Monday, and before that, as usual, some details have leaked out.

9to5Mac reports that with software optimization, Apple has managed to increase the Apple Watch’s Battery Life to 5 hours of Screen on time, which may seem less, but Apple expects you to use its Smartwatch only for 10 second sessions, meaning it will last for a day, not more.

It will also have a low-power Mode which you can turn on at any time to conserve Battery Life by disabling some features.

We will know on Monday, at Apple’s event.

What do you think? Is the Battery Life dissapointing? Will it be successful?

The Apple Watch is a feat of high-end engineering, but as far as Apple's marketing is concerned, it's a piece of jewellery, not a freaking computer with motherboard and chips and sensors.

First things first: I like it. I've seen other smartwatches like the Moto 360 and the Pebble and they just look dorky compared to the Apple Watch. The 360, in particular, feels like a honking wall clock strapped to your wrist. The slender design of the Apple Watch speaks the elegant language of analog Swiss timepieces. There are dozens of straps to choose from - everything from basic rubber to a beautiful Milanese loop - that are to die for.
