Are you more like your mother or father?

8 simple questions to determine if you're more like your mother or father. Have fun!

Are you more like your mother or father?

You are more like your:

Father

You are thoughtful, warm, kind, and trustworthy. You like to take time and assess the implications of something before doing it. That makes you a highly efficient human being. Your warmth and kindness is refreshing and you can be trusted to always save the day.

What about you ?

PJ sir....I also got the same as you!

Most daughters adopt Father's traits and see him as the real Hero!!

Dear PJ sir,

Today my father was discussing with me some points on idol worship cos he just came back from India and said that he saw some shops selling idols and some placed the idols outside the shop for display and also slippers were kept near by...he was not happy to see that.

So my father was asking me why do people only respect an idol after its been consecrated but treat a non consecrated idol as just a mere stone..then he asked me is it only consecration that renders an idol sacred?

He said he wanted an answer...

So I said that its not consecration alone that makes an idol holy..a non consecrated idol too is equally holy.

My dad then asked me "how?"

I then sang this line:

Kallai Mattum Kandal Kadavul Theriyathu,
Kadavul Mattum Kandal Kalladi Theriyathu

Then he got annoyed with me ..he said "I am asking you a question and I expect an answer!"

Suddenly I remembered you PJ sir...cos my father was getting real annoyed with me like how do!LOL

I too get annoyed when god in any form - idol, picture is portrayed next to things like slippers, junk, etc.

I remember once writing to Dinamalar because they had their slipper ad right on top of the temple section.

I thought provoking subject was discussed between you and your dad.

I am not sure under what circumstances under which that song was rendered

Kallai Mattum Kandal Kadavul Theriyathu,
Kadavul Mattum Kandal Kalladi Theriyathu

Hindus normally respect idols whether it is
consecrated or not.

Needs a detailed discussion on it without hurting anyone's sentiment.
