Bangalore-Palani-Bangalore HowTo

Namaste,

My friends (3 ladies) are going to palani. (Bangalore-Palani-Bangalore)
Can anyone give me full information for the following:

* Arrive morning apprx 7am Dindigul
* cheap stay (but safe)
* better food/hotel
* Depart evening 6pm-9pm Dindigul
* Dates not finalised. Probably weekend. If rush is more, do recommend any other day.

The trip should be cost-effective. Its a underpriveldged family who cannot spend more. So they hope to travel by train. Bus is costly. Is a stay required? (Probably for bathing, right? Or any temple common facilities for ladies to freshup themselves before entering the temple). What will be the total expense required (please give me breakup). If any pooja (normal) need to be done, also mention the cost.

thanks

Thanks so much. Is bangalore-coimbatore-palani not round-about?
I see on train from mysore-tuticorin (on some days yeshwantpur to nagercoil) goes via dindigul.
Please also provide name/contact details of the paid chatrams. Need some basic information on the amount to be incurred.

If you call the phone numbers for accommodation at temple lodges no one will lift and answer. The staffs work for private lodges
