[h=1]Beep song: Now TR seeks divine intervention[/h]Chennai : Following a slew of cases filed against his son Simbu over his controversial Beep Song, actor-producer-filmmaker T Rajendher today performed special poojas at Vazhakuarutheeswarar temple near Kanchipuram.

It is generally believed that one can overcome legal trouble by offering prayers at this temple.

Later addressing mediapersons, Rajendher said, 'My son is being needlessly targetted and some miscreants are behind the act'. Meanwhile, city police continued their enquiry against Simbu and Anirudh over the song. They had even written a letter to YouTube urging them to give details about the IP account from which the song was uploaded after Simbu alleged that it was put on the net illegally.

TR is a Bhakth of Hanuman! But his son is a Casanova who has been giving lot of headaches to his parents! May the wayward Simbu get reformed atleast now!

Father T.Rajendar gives a contradictory statements; Mother Usha Rajendar releases a weeping video.

But son Simbu says that he would see everything in the court.Perhaps having faith and belief in the de facto judge...........
" Vazhakuarutheeswarar ".

I don't get it..why such a fuss for this song?

After all ...the so called obscene words are Beeped and it is only indirectly implied..one has to mentally fill in the blanks to guess the obscene word.

Unless someone has the knowledge of the obscene word he/she would not know what the word is all about.

BTW the implied word should not be taken literally.

The infamous "P" word in Tamil is sometimes used in a different context..just like how the "F" word is used in various ways.

People of TN got this song all wrong.

When Simbu sang "Enna Beep Ku Love Pandram" its just implies a guy being frustrated about love..its in no way implying any genitals of any gender here.

The meanings of a word are many..just that some wise men only want to call it in one way!LOL

[h=1]High Court Moved For Booking All Those Projecting Women In Bad Taste[/h]CHENNAI: Questioning the swift action by Tamil Nadu police in booking Tamil actor Simbu over a controversial 'beep' song, a petition has been filed in the Madras High Court seeking registration of FIR against all those who project women in bad taste in all mediums, including films.

Petitioner P Balambal, a senior woman advocate with 34 years of practice in the high court, sought a direction to the police to take action and register FIR like in the case of 'Beepsong' episode against all those who project women in bad taste and insult them.

The Coimbatore Police had recently registered the case against Mr Simbu and music composer Anirudh Ravichandran following a complaint from the local unit of All India Democratic Women's Association that the song allegedly contained vulgar lyrics denigrating women.

Another case had also been registered by Chennai police against the two in connection with the song.

these vulgar lyrics.

It is a passing phase.

some years back there were many such songs in hindi films when subash ghai picturised a song with madhuri dikshit and

neena gupta starting 'choli ke....'. and others followed suit. After a few such songs , people lost interest . Even now in

bhojpuri films, there are songs with bad lyrics.

by giving publicity to such things , we are making more people log on to you tube to hear that . We can be mature and

ignore these songs if it is in bad taste.

I understand that the action sought by the woman lawyer is not against the 'Beepsong' only.
Actually the referred
'Beep-song' against which the cases are filed is said to have been released by the offender by filling the 'beep' with actual intended filthy word.

Simbu still not yet grown up to be Cool - Why should he be frustated about love? See this by Meenakshi Reddy Madhavan!

The walk of shame is barely ever that, it’s often a mixed bag that throws up feelings of triumph, guilt and defiance to the opposite of shame

But I’ll end with a happy story: with the man who has been my partner for over four years now. One of our first evenings — and mornings together — I was going to leave him a note saying goodbye and this was fun and we must do this again sometime — all platitudes I was practised in, by being the Cool Girl who didn’t Demand Too Much from men, thereby scaring them off (as a single woman, I was told putting too much pressure on a man was a cardinal sin). Instead, I woke him up and we both went for a walk — and we both wore the clothes we had on the night before. We drank coffee and watched the early morning light, and it was beautiful and intimate and the opposite of shame after all.

I’ve never been ‘shamed’ by the walk of shame, per se. I remember borrowing t-shirts from boyfriends to wear over last night’s dress so I could comfortably catch a rickshaw without looking like I was wearing spangles and heels at noon. That was when I lived in Mumbai. In Delhi, the ‘walk’ was more like a ‘drive’— I imagine nowadays it’s the Uber of Shame — which takes away from the very meaning of it, of having to display to all and sundry that you’re still in last night’s clothes, meaning that you never went home at all, meaning that... wink wink, nudge nudge.

the post by a cool girl walking in night clothes to catch a rickshaw home next morning sounds authentic.

that she found a man who could walk with her hand in hand in night clothes , drinking coffee and watch the sunrise.

Is this new india with educated working girls living independantly and caring too hoots for the society at large .

that they can co exist with the traditional types in bondage in the same city taking the hostility of all from

chemists, watchmen to milkmen and men with ancient mindsets is worth admiration.

I feel india has evolved into a modern society with changed mindsets .

perhaps it is better than what it was decades back.

I would wish to be young and be part of the younger crowd .
