Pulekeshi II is a great worshipper of Shiva (Apollo) and is destroyed by Narasimhavaraman who ganged up with all other south indian kingdoms.

So he attacks the City Badami (covered by water on 3 sides) & burns down a great kingdom.
Almost all of the events, sub events match between Ramayana, Troy & Narasimhavarman / Pulekeshi II war matches.
for eg, in Illiad/Troy, Achilles tells Hector - go home, drink wine & make love to your wife, we will have our war tomorrow. In Ramayana, Rama tells Ravana - go home, take rest, & we will have our war tomorrow. every one of the events match !!
So NO question these 2 historic tales are the same war, same story, same set of people- written in 2 different languages by 2 different authors at the "same location & times" !!

Both the stories are immortalized as mythical classics to even this day ! like Achilles says to Hector, our names will remain forever even if the dust from our bones disappear !

Another key point to this war happening outside of the current Greece is: Agmemnon says to Nestor that - I built a nation out of "Serpent & fire worshipping people". All the south indian tribes worship serpent - Nagas (Naga stands for Serpent) are a tribe very well known. Strangely when Moses goes to the mountains to find God, his people rebel against him & built a golden Calf by melting all the gold coins/bangles. Where did these people get the idea to build a golden calf in the middle of desert ??. Only we Vedic Aryans worshipped Cows & Calf is absolutely sacred to us ! so you can see the connection.
For Vedic religion, God is both formless (Bramhan – supreme being = Endless Energy) & in form (life force in each of us is God) !!
