Comparisons, as the saying goes, are sometimes very odious! If 2014 is a repeat of 1947, we should also expect a very big communal bloodshed very soon, should not we? That is why the Congress fellows are crying hoarse that Modi coming to power will be disastrous for India.
As per astrology, Jupiter will move on from Gemini to Cancer in June 2014; Rahu/Kethu will regress into Virgo/Pisces in early july, and Saturn will move over to Scorpio in November (or December according to the almanac). For the Indian horoscope the second and third transits above (of the lunar nodes and Saturn) will be favourable but the first - Jupiter's moving into Janma Rasi Cancer - will be very unfavourable. Hence in the next one year upto July or August 2015, the country will face many kinds of problems, trials and difficulties. Since Sun Mahadasa - Venus Bhukti will run from 2014 Sept. to 2015 Sept., the results are most likely to be quite unfavourable to the people in general. I personally feel that irrespective of who becomes PM after the elections, crony capitalism, aping the western life styles and hence begging for Foreign funds to run even our day-to-day affairs, neglect of a "national spirit" in favour of presenting the country and its vast riches to the western colonial powers, etc. will continue unabated. It is relevant to note that after, all the hoarse shoutings about the Indian Black money in Swiss Banks, the BJP Manifesto very cleverly says it will "set up a Committee" for this purpose! And Congress at least did not pull the wool over our eyes by setting up Committee for this!
From 2015 Sept., Indian Independence horoscope will be running Moon's Dasa. Moon is afflicted and so is the third house. Hence there is likely to be further gradual erosion only in India's affairs throughout Moon's Dasa with only occasional bright spots.
Hence, if the above predictions are falsified, I will be only very happy. Even then the chances of "a new beginning" seem remote, to me at least.
