Chennai: The Intelligence Of A Driver & A Conductor Saved The Life Of A Pregnant Lady Who Was About To Deliver
Want to share an incident which happened today. I got a bus from Tambaram (outer Chennai, an important bus stop for travelers who intend to move in or out of the city in Chennai) to kancheepuram (neighboring district of Chennai) in the evening. A pregnant woman started crying due to severe pain while travelling. (There is no specialized hospital between Padappai village and kancheepuram). Given the situation the driver and conductor responded to it in a very intelligent way.
What driver and conductor did is “Not to stop the bus at any stops” and when they stopped the bus, they stopped it 200 meters away from actual stopping to save time to avoid new passengers. Thereby saving valuable time.
