Another thing I observe is the single family sysdrum. Old times joint family elders father and mother, grandfather grandmother had a dignity. If you go to a house the grandfather sitting with his full Brahmin attair of Iyer or Iyengar. Automatically a Coffee or Buttermilk comes they talking and grandmother join the conversation from a distance with a very cordial way. There are elders in the house the grandchildren  confide to them their dilemma and seek guidance. But we have broken it due to our own self taught and thought freedom from elders advice. Where would the children go when they face such a situation. It is 100% girls in the family think to unload the mental burden but there's no go. If they tell the parents they simply say :" appadinna velaikki poga mattiya"" or ""adhellam nanga pakkadhadha, and force the child to go to work or other.

Panjum neruppum.
