There is a Delhi HC judgment stating there can be no marriage between cousins under Hindu Marriage Act.

Exception may only be granted when both the boy and girl are tribals or if all Hindus in the family and district follow and support the practice.


For TBs it is 99% prohibited. Such couples can marry under Special Marriage Act or convert to another religion.
