MSD posed for a national business magazine cover as the Indian God Vishnu, holding different products endorsed by the cricketer, including a shoe. Only divine intervention can make things easier on the cricketer now!

I find this highly disrespectful!

No doubt God is in everything but if we choose the deify a certain aspect of God we need to confer respect to it even though God is beyond an image or form.

I think some of us take images of God too lightly and print all sorts of Camphor boxes cover,Agarbathi covers and also wedding cards with all sorts of Divine symbols like Aum etc and finally everything lands in the dustbin.

That is why it is better wedding cards are made simple direct to the point sans all religious symbols so at least we know that no religious symbol landed in the dustbin.


I think mainly people think of themselves to get blessings but no one thinks how much we disrespect God and Holy symbols in that process.

Jayalalitha did not initiate or authorise her depiction as virgin mary; it was done by her party loyalists. If business today has created this cover picture then it has to take the praise or the blame.

If Dhoni's part in the IPL beneficiaries as a better, fixer, player manipulator surfaces and proved, he will blame business today for the cover story and incurring divine wrath.
