Did you ever get scammed at ebay?

I ordered 2 items - one for $25 and another for $14 at ebay on the 19th. Both the sellers had excellent ratings - close to 99% with very few negative reviews and an overwhelming amount of positive reviews. The $25 seller shipped his package right away and ebay sent a 'shipped' email along with a tracking number. I was so happy at this quickness. But for the past 4 days, nothing has moved since then! The package, when tried with its tracking number, shows "Shipping Label created at so and so place on the 19th" with no further information. It has been the same the last 4 days and shows no further changes. And the other package seller sent me a shipped email yesterday with a tracking number through USPS Standard shipping and when I enter that number at the USPS track and confirm, it does not even recognize that number.

Then I tried to contact the USPS for a confirmation. And I am totally unable to talk to a representative. I tried the 1800-ASK-USPS number and the automatic voice does not give a chance tried anyway to talk to a representative.

Now I wonder what to do. I even wonder if my parcels will arrive... has anyone experienced the above with ebay? Did your parcel arrive eventually?

I have used e-bay all the time I use paypal for payment.
If the package does not arrive or is wrong item shipped, I contact the seller.
Usually that solves the problem.
You can also escalate it to resolution center. They are very good. I do not have any complains.
One time I had to get Paypal involved as the merchandize was stolen after delivery (they had signed receipt), but paypal refunded the full price as I did not receive it.
So keep the pressure.

i prefer amazon than ebay.....i think amazon has better service than ebay....

Amazon and e-bay may compete in some items but they cater to different market and consumer.
Sometimes you get great buys in e-bay.
Even in Amazon if a packet is not received and you bought it in Amazon marketplace you have to go through the same steps.
