Hi,

My father passed away less than a month ago. I was informed by the learned that i could proceed to do the first tharpanam immediately after an eclipse? Is this right? If not, when should I do it then?

Also, I would want to perform tonsure for my new born. Do I have to wait for a certain period to do so?
