Another Sunday

A day ideal for dreaming.

I was just reading an article which says world actually belongs to those who dream big and those who don't let age come in the the way of their dreams.

I felt elated.

So many senior citizen to keep ones company and some of them could even appear in my dreams[Nightmare?]

Jokes apart, Senior citizens can achieve a lot given their age and experience and maturity they have .

Some inspiring seniors making waves

Actor Anil kapoor made his hollywood debut at 52 years

Suhasini Mulay 64 yrs actress -found love on facebook and married at 61.

Geetu Hinduja 55 Rockstar ,started singing on stage at 55

Hasmukh shah 55 ran a marathon after having an angioplasty

Premlata Agarwal 52 oldest woman to climb Mt everest at 48 years

Shah Mohammed Shaikh 51 passed SSC exam in the same batch as his daughter

look around you .you will find many more ,

Dreams can age not withstanding always come true for the really determined.

Shall we try becoming a dreamer?

Dreaming is nice.

Growing old does not stop anyone going for a big dream.

And everyone have their own dreams.

But mere dreaming does not take any one anywhere. A dream without a mission, vision, hard work, iron will, etc is a waste.

For many opportunity knocks at their doors only when they get aged.

So getting aged is not a disadvantageous thing, in fact for some it may prove advantageous.

As such, Keep your dreams alive, age has got nothing to do with it.

You are never too old to win over new audience

You are never too old to start feeling sexy

You are never too old to let music find you

You are never too old to discover your funny bone

You are never too old to reach new heights

You are never too old to test your body’s limit

You are never too old to defy gravity

You are never too old to go back to school

You are never too old to unleash your inner rock star

You are never too old to conquer an exam

You are never too old to take on new technology

You are never too old to find love

[h=1]Dream Big -If you are Old[/h]
I beg to differ... friends. Oldness , ageing etc. pertains to body only. The mind never get the wrinkles of ageing........If a person starts thinking that he is 70 years young ( not old) he can be useful to the family & society.

Well...why only have "good" dreams?

Why not have unimaginable dreams?

Dream the following:

1)At least have 1 extra marital affair before the age of 60.

2)Date of porn star and have an infamous scandal.

3)Make a sex video and upload it online and claim that you do not know how it got online.

4)Grab a toy or ice cream from a child and watch him/her cry!LOL

5)Tell a 5 year old how babies are actually made!LOL

6)Call up a 60 year old woman and spread a rumor that her husband is having an affair with her older sister!LOL

7)Fake coming in trance and start hitting everyone around you and say that "God is doing cleansing and hitting bad luck away"

So many dreams..any takers?LOL

R
keep it coming

Life is not only made up of dreams alone. some nightmares also can be interesting

Specially on a rainy morning stuck in our homes[ delhi is having torrential downpours dislocating normal living]

The events in dreams are generally outside the control of the dreamer. In modern times, dreams have been seen as a connection to the unconscious mind. Dreams can have varying natures, such as being frightening, exciting, magical, melancholic, adventurous, or sexual.
Sigmund Freud was an Austrian neurologist, now known as the father of psychoanalysis, had interpreted dreams as outcomming of suppressed thoughts in sub conscious mind .Even if they fade and go into unconscious mind they may come out in dreams , either in same / different forms.
lol : Where are the proposed dreams are stored ? in your concious mind ?.

prabhupada_4.webpMaster who dreamt big: Srila A C Bhakthivedantha Swami Prabhupada.

He was 69 when His divine Grace Abhaya Charanaravinda Bhaktivedantha Swami Prabhupada (A C Bhakthivedantha Prabhupada) to see his forty years' dream to fructfy. At the orders of his master Srila Bhaktsiddhanta Saraswati Goswami, the greatest devotee of Krishna of his time, he set to travel ourside India to spread the message of Sri Krishna.

On September,17,1965, when he first arrived on a complimentary passage by freighter S S Jaladuta in New York City, Srila Prabhupada had forty rupees and an Indian steel trunk full of vedic litrature and an umbrella with him. It was after almost a year of great difficulty that he established the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISCON) in July of 1966. Under his careful guidance, the Society grew within a decade to a worldwide confederation of almost one hundred asramas, schools, temples, institutes and farm communities. Next twelve years after his arrival in America the Hare Krishna movement spread to major cities worldwide. Today ISCON movement has spread in six continents with thousands of dedicated followers. His life itself is an awe inspiring movement.

Srila Prabhupada's most significant contribution, apart from ISCON, however, is his books. Highly respected by the academic community for their authoritativeness, depth and clarity, his books are used as standard textbooks in numerous college courses. He has translated, written and published 51 vo
lumes of books. His writings have been translated into twenty-eight languages. Tens and millions of which have been distributed all over the world. He has delivered thousands of lectures, written letters and taken part numerous discussions with scholars and critics.

On November 14, 1977 Srila Bhaktivendantha Swami passed away at the age of 81 in Vrindavan. It is an astonishing story as to how a person could acomplish such a fete between his age of 70 and 82.
