Five course vegetarain in Chinese

Wow! I could not manage a single day in China when I travelled some 14 years back...There was no vegetarian available except rice..I had to mix that with some boiled vegetables which were bland (It used to taste odd..Looked like it was mixed with some non veg), some chilly sauce and managed

Seeing this, my eyes rolled in disbelief...This five course veg dinner awaits our PM today

My lady friend who is a Chemical Engineer frequently makes trips to China, Korea, etc. Although she is a meat eater (NB), she told me she couldn't survive there still because they consume raw meat in excess in those countries. Besides, as stated in the OP, the taste of even cooked meat is so different, that she found it unpalatable to some extent. Good that PM Modi is greeted with delicious vegetarian food with Chinese flavor!
