This is the ordeal and the plight of people travelling in Chennai city buses everyday.. Your next bus will never come..either break-down or not running..!!

Metros if they are put in place fast can ease the problem .

Nothing moves fast in chennai.

Delhi already implementing Phase 3 of metro

I think too much is being made out of this footboard travel by girls which is only temporary situation. With few projects on hand things are sure to improve.

Chennaities know the importance of green cover.

This is the case of Delhi metro.

The proposed metro lines are in urban/ city area and will not pass through any forests. Hence no loss to forest is anticipated due to the project. There are 5,147 trees along the alignment . These trees are likely to be cut during construction. Out of these, it is estimated that 3,914 trees will be cut due to development of project. These trees may be equivalent to 1300 mature trees. Trees are major assets in purifications of urban air, by utilizing CO2 from atmosphere and releasing oxygen into the air. With removal of these trees the process for CO2 conversion will get effected and the losses are reported below: i) Total number of Mature Trees : 1300 ii) Decrease in CO2 absorption @ 21.8 Kg/ year tree for 8 years : 226,720 kg iii) Oxygen production @ 49 kg/ year tree For 8 years : 509,600 kg The average consumption of oxygen for a person is about 182 kg/ year. It means these trees will meet the requirement of about 350 people round the year. The total value of these trees lost is Rs.1.17 million .

Chennai loves nature and Chennai is unique.

Chennai itself is moving fast towards growth!!

On the contrary some of the things never move fast at Delhi like the cases in the Supreme Court or the Bills pending in our Parliament.

There are lot of things which slug at Delhi.

Come here to Msia..everything moves fast..no one hangs out from buses..the bus driver wont permit the passengers to do that becos the police will revoke licence of bus operators who fail to follow guidelines.

Anyone trying this stunts will be questioned by the police.

Situation in chennai will remain in the same temporary state . only these girls will become patties hanging on to footboards.lol

Delhi was lucky to get the right talent with sridharanji presiding and shiela dixit giving political support.

now see , cochin metro with sridharan will come up faster than chennai though started later.

chennai might have done a poor job of land acquisition with poor compensation and not learning from experience of other metros .

the govt might be busier in distributing freebies than doing any development

You can join in with Lungi Dance!..get a Lungi from Chennai Ok..Delhi would know nothing about Lungi.

So Krish ji..awaiting your arrival for Lungi Dance here..we need to import Belly Dancers from Middle East to be your back up.
 
SRK is more anxious than me to go to M'sia to perform lungi dance.

He has performed many times in Msia even the Lungi Dance.

But I never went for his life shows..the reason is becos I like him to remain on screen.I only know the on screen SRK.

I dont want to know the off screen SRK becos I only desire the on screen SRK.

The off screen SRK is just like any other man we know..no magic.

Magic only remains when we are in the Unknown Zone.
 
Returning To the subject of Gender Equality,

Chennai with its mindset is hardly the place to look for it

chennai TB boys deserve only " thanni kattara' TB girls who are holding special tutorials on Equality and Gender justice for them.

Here we have an hardcore opportunist who after seriously considering all other Universities in India, selects a University in Chennai for education of his ward and now passing adverse comments against Chennai. At that time, he comfortably forgets all the comments that he vomits here now and avail all good things of Chennai. It is easy to preach blah blah. Poor guy.
 
The last time I visited Chennai was in 1995.

I must visit Chennai some day.

I wonder how is it like now.

In 1995..it was a nice experience..I was lining up to buy movie tickets and some young college boys told me no need to wait and they will buy for me.

So I gave them the money and they bought for me.

So sweet...very decent boys..helpful also.

I know if I line up at now..no one will buy for me!

All these happens when you are young.

But who knows if I meet some oldie..he might line up for me!LOL

Whether it is movie ticket or railway ticket or restaurant booking..everything can be done by on-line in chennai..
And when you visit Chennai..remember to inform us like RR madam, Anand..etc..etc..so that you will be treated like Jayalalitha..!! [ She may be sent to Jail tomorrow in Bangalore case..]
