GOLD IS PART OF OURLIFE
Nature has given us somuch bounties and natural resources. On seeing this we are gettingoverwhelmed and wondered by the way our mother nature supports usthrough its eco-system.

Nature Goddess hasshowered us with the priceless possession of natural herbs, minerals, trees, plants, creepers which are useful to the humanity and each oneof them given by it like fruits, leaves, roots all help us to sustainlife cycle and also support our agriculture which make us to livewithout any type of problems for our sustenance through many type offood products. More than that, Mountains, Streams and rivers make usto live and enjoy by getting awed by the natures wonders which makeus to look awesome at the way mother nature support us with herimmense treasure. On looking into this by thinking about god’smysterious ways to help us by giving all type of life sustenance andproducts to support our life system, we have to be great-full to GODfor helping us without expecting anything in return.
In all the naturalresources, one of the wonders is GOLD which we are getting by miningit from many mines. In order to get it, we dig the land throughchisel and hammer to get it from the depth of the mine and the rawgold mixed with sand and mud is separated through machines. Afterthat it is put into fire kilns and by striking with hammer when thematerial is hot and turning it around in different directions andmaking it in such a way that it is turned into GOLD Bars.

Gold is the mainconstituent in making our economy in a better way. A nation’s GrossDomestic Product index and the Rupee Value is mainly dependent on thetotal value of GOLD a country is possessing. That is with the volumeof gold only a country economy is flourishing and economic progressis valued through the volume of GOLD Only. In short, A Country’s ora Society’s progress is dependent on the total capacity of theGOLD, a country possess. This is the prime way a country’s progressis determined even though we have currencies in Dollar and Rupees.

IF you look at TamilNadu, people of Tamil Nadu have made GOLD as their basis of Lifesustenance. Even though GOLD Value is increasing day by day, Even theimport of GOLD and Gold mining process is decreasing, the purchasingpower of the people increases in leaps and bounds. From Child Birthto till their Marriage, People started saving Gold for their Lifesecurity. In that way common people’s saving is estimated byeconomic experts as tons and tons of Gold.
In India if you see 130corers of people (Nearly 1.3 Billion people) because of our saving ofGOLD, we are improving in our life standards day by day. We areprogressing in Science, Education and Employment we are progressingthrough investments from abroad as well as within our country. OurCountry is giving the natural minerals and resources to our Youths.Still our country is economically getting affected due to wrongeconomic policies.
At one time I have givena plan for saving GOLD by way of bonds by common people. From CentralGovernment, I got an acknowledgment for my wonderful idea by praisingmy innovative and brilliant idea. The 1.3 billion people of India byinvesting in the GOLD Bond by giving gold in their possession by wayof investment after certain number of years can get it back asincreased investment revenue. In that way, Our Gold possession willexceed TONS OF GOLD. If our country utilizes this Gold, Our Countrywill reach the pinnacle and become the number one country in terms ofEconomic progress.
If our Government makes aplea to our people, tons and tons of gold will come to our governmenttreasury. In return, if our government gives a small interest andafter 5 or 10 years can make them to take with good returns. For thisour Government should give tax exemption. If they give assurance tothe people with increased returns, People will lend their Gold to theGovernment treasury.

More so our churches, mosques and temples have made secret hides for to keep it as atreasure underground. Religious minded leaders with good heart andpeople who are in charge of these GOLD treasures if they willinglyhand over this to our Government treasury, our Economic status willgrow up. Therefore instead of saying in words praising Gold, If GOLDtreasures with different people is properly invested for country’seconomic progress, Our Country will reach the pinnacle of Glory. ThisI’m conveying through my heartfelt desire and immense pleasure ofimproving the country in a self less way.

I do not buy this argument.
1. Converting savings into indiscriminate investment will lead to wastage and loss and growth will be disproportionate to the investment.
2. Donation to temples especially gold and ornaments is for the deity. Donor will not like the vairamudi to be taken over by the govt.
3. Large scale dumping of gold in the market will only reduce the price, leading to people with cash buying and hoarding expecting appreciation.
4. Rajadharma does not permit appropriating temple gold.

Will be similar to stocking foodgrains and letting them rot.
Anyway govt has a decent gold reserve. Why not use it first, like morarji Desai did when dollar account was negative.

And if temples put a notice that all gold offerings will be given to the govt donations may be reduced to a trickle.

It is reported that some of the devotees don’t seem to check the quality of this precious metal while buying the same for offering to Gods!

Even God is not spared! Vaishno Devi shrine offered 43 kg fake gold.

Forty-three kg of gold and 57,000 kg of silver offered by devotees at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu and Kashmir have been found to be fake, an RTI application has revealed.

The RTI query elicited the information that 193.5 kg of gold and 81,635 kg of silver was offered at the shrine at Katra town in the last five years.

"Of this, 43 kg of gold and 57,815 kg of silver turned out to be fake," M.K. Bhandari, chief executive officer of the board that manages the shrine, said.

"We send the precious metal offerings to the government for melting and converting (them) into gold and silver coins which the devotees buy as souvenirs."

He said some devotees may be buying gold and silver without checking their purity.

The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi temple is one of the most revered shrines. It was visited by over one crore devotees last year.

Gold reserve is the only reserve which can be easily converted when we incur external debts. Our currency is in recession day by day due to our trade imbalances, our external debts and our poor export-import policy. Only alternative is to keep better gold reserve. I don't know all that glitters may not be gold but our government survival from World bank loan debts and our not paying debts to international monetary agencies can be solved to a large extent if we adapt this policy if as a patriot everyone wants to have a debt free India (provided the gold funds are not misused by the government in rule)
