Google and Mattel are perhaps some of the most unlikely alliances you will ever see, but they are partnering up and are going to unveil a new Product covered in a veil of mystery.
Yes, these two giants are teaming up, and have sent out invites for an event this Friday. As we see from the invite, it is related to a visually stimulating Product. As we don’t know much details about this, we can only speculate on what it is.
Perhaps Google is ready to push out its Google Cardboard VR Headset into a more, uh, finished form. Or perhaps Google is messing around with Augmented Reality figurines, similar to Nintendo’s Amiibo. These figurines will perhaps be manufactured by Mattel.
Or perhaps Google and Mattel are teaming up for other AR concepts. Google will manage the tech, and Mattel will do the manufacturing.
Anyways, we won’t know till Friday, when they officially announce this mystery Product.
