Paying through your smartphones sounds futuristic and convenient, but despite numerous attempts, this dream still hasn’t been fulfilled.
After the failure of Google Wallet, Google is back with Android Pay that promises to integrate with most smartphones and payment portals.
After announcing at I/O 2015, it is finally launching in the US with support for every NFC-enabled Android phone running 4.4 and above. Google will ask for you to set a password, and you are good to go.
Google is promising that we would see widespread use of Android Pay. It’s main competition is Apple Pay, which has been around a tad bit longer.

American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa cards are supported right now, with better support coming soon.
