Another india destabilizing organization reigned in. Lucky it is not banned. Hope it is investigated and punished/fined for its anti national/anti developmental funding in recent times.

NEW DELHI: After putting Ford Foundation in the prior approval category, the Narendra Modi government has told the international donor's Indian arm to apply for registration under Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), 1999.
Ford Foundation representatives, who have held a series of meetings with the home ministry as well as finance ministry brass since the home ministry ordered in April that all its grants in India be pre-approved by it, have been told that it needs to register with the RBI for a liaison office under FEMA.
This, the international NGO has been advised, is needed since it is not registered as a society, trust or corporate in India. A home ministry official told TOI its lack of registration under an Indian law means Ford Foundation does not have legal status, bringing its two bank accounts in India with American Express and Citibank, through which it reportedly pays salaries to its 50-odd staff here, into question.
