Vanakkam Rajappaji,

Hari vaasaram is a term related with the Ekadashi fasting. People perform fast during Ekadashi do not take food during the duration of the entire Ekadashi thithi and consume food only after 'paaranai' on next day that is dwadashi after feeding a brahmachari. However they can take tulasi theertha during the course of fast. The last quarter of Ekadashi thithi and the first quarter of Dwadashi thithi together forms a period called "Hari vaasaram". During this period even the consumption of tulasi theertha is also avoided. You can refer to a good Panchangam to findout the exact timings of Harivaasaram. Or even you can even depend on a good astological software (many are available free of cost on internet) to determine the timings as per your area. (local mean time)

Ganesh.
