Help with translation

Hi there,

I was wondering if someone could help out with a translation:

दुन्चान त्रुस्सेल्ल् कुटुम्ब काल

I want it to read "The Duncan Trussell Family Hour"

The best I could do is "Duncan Trussell Family Time" with my limited knowledge.

Did I do this correctly or does it need more work? I don't mind it being slightly off, I just want it to make some sort of sense. I used a phonetic transcription to spell "duncan trussell"

The meaning is slightly lost if we are looking for a word to word translation.

Family hour is basically "Time spent with Family"

The spelling we want is Phonetic so Duncan will be spelled as दुन्कन् with a क and not a चा as you wrote.

Ok now coming to Family Hour.

If you want.. you can use the word होरा (horA) to denote hour..cos the English word Hour is from the Sanskrit word होरा.

Ok coming to Family Hour.

In Sanskrit it would be कुतुम्बस्य होरा and then we can apply rules of Samasa and shorten it to
कुतुम्बहोरा

So your translation would be :

दुन्कन् त्रुस्सेल्ल् कुतुम्बहोरा

डुन्कान् ट्रुस्सेल् कुटुम्ब हॊरा is probably a better transliteration.

I spelled Duncan Trussel as it will be pronounced in U.S (assuming that), and family time (for family hour assuming it is the time you spend time with that family)here is yet another translation/transliteration. (Mine is just a suggestion)
