If that person's age does not change?

No one..cos death is inevitable.

Each person has their own journey and we have no right to disturb their journey of life and death.

Further more bringing back someone from the dead is disrespecting the Cosmic Law and mostly for selfish purposes.

This is only an imaginary question. Hence there is not likely to be any tampering with cosmic law etc.

I will bring Veda Vyasa back and will have him questioned by the best legal brains available as to how and why he (Veda Vyasa) wrote so much and what benefits he got?

He might reply "Karmanyevadhikaraste Ma Phalesu Kadacana"

The only thing that is dead & which can be brought back is OUR ANCIENT CULTURE, which gave us truth, modesty, honesty & good virtues. Today these qualities are dead, If wee try we can still bring it back.

Discussing of bringing back to life any dead person seems a waste of time. Sorry not wanting to hurt any sentiment.

There is a lot of misunderstanding here. What truth? What honesty? and whose virtue? No time was all good for all people. Even Ramrajya was not good for Sita.
We can turn the clock back but we may not like it.

Shri Ramachandran,

If you read Kautilya's arthasAstra, there is enough evidence therein to show that corruption in government existed very much, at all levels of govt. We also know from other sources that life for the common man was as difficult as it is today, in many time periods. Hence, all the talk and nostalgia about a lost "golden era" comes out of our ignorance and the misinformation given to us by our religious sources, more especially, the pravachanakartas, harikatha exponents, etc.

I would prefer "Valmiki"...... To have interaction with him.....

Forum members could hear from the lion's mouth ...whether "Raamaayanaa" is real of not?

It seems that none is interested to bring back one of their departed parents!!

I wonder why ?

Dear PJ sir,

You should see the movie Pet Sematary..based on the novel of Stephen King about coming back from the dead.

Don't you think they have already had 'enough' from their off-springs?? :D

BTW, my choice is Srinivas because we still have much more to hear from his magic mandolin! :thumb:

An artist of his caliber should not die this young!

My other favorities among those who died young are Subramania Bharathi, Srinivasa Ramanajum, M.K.Thyagaraja Bhagavathar..They definitely need a second life!
