[h=1]If you install the Windows 10 Preview, you get the full Windows 10 for free[/h] June 20, 2015 Kishore Ganesh Leave a comment Edit
Over the past few months, it has become very clear that Microsoft wants Windows 10 to reach as many people as possible, and Microsoft wishes Windows 10 to be the daily driver for everyone.
It should be adopted as fast as possible, and should replace all previous versions of Windows, and Microsoft has been taking steps to ensure that this happens.
Firstly, it has put in features that users actually want, such as the Start Menu, and Continuum, which automatically switches between a touch-oriented interface and a keyboard-mouse oriented one based on the device you are using. It is taking in feedback from users, and implementing their suggestions in continual Preview updates.
It has even offered Windows 10 as a free upgrade for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users, and this offer lasts for an year. And yes, pirates would get an update too.
In fact, Microsoft intends Windows 10 to be the last major version of Windows. Future updates would be downloaded and installed automatically, similar to Linux.
Now, Microsoft has indicated that Windows 7 / Windows 8.1 isn’t even a necessity for an upgrade. Just installing the Windows 10 Preview with a Microsoft Account would entitle you for a free update for the release edition of Windows 10, when it releases on July 29th
What do you think? Will Windows 10 break all records for Windows OS adoption?
