New York, May 7: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has declared that his government views all religions at par and won't tolerate any discrimination.

In an extensive interview to Time magazine, the prime minister said his and the BJP's philosophy was "Sabka saath, sabka vikas - Together with all, progress for all.

"Wherever a (negative) view might have been expressed (about) a minority religion, we have immediately negated that," he said in the two-hour interview.

"So far as the government is concerned, there is only one holy book, which is the constitution of India. The unity and the integrity of the country are the topmost priorities.

Mode has said it hundred times, but secular media is not convinced. He said our Constitution is the first book for the got. He must act as per constitution and remove all special privileges and rights now enjoyed by minorities.

Modi is becoming a pure secularist and must be dreaming himself as a Nehruvian. Poor supporters of Shri Modiji. One thing about BJP: It rides in Hindutva and rides out on Secularism. He has changed lot of things. The best is he converted Times of India into his sherwani pocket. TOI was his enemy No 1 until he became PM. Changes do take place in India.

TOI and its TV channel are virulently anti modi; better it stays that way, because most of the english reading public have lost faith in Times, native or foreign.

Modi is following the traditional brand hindutva - no appeasement, development for all. Congress sponsored secularism - minority first (MMS said this in a press conference) is meeting its well deserved grave. Good that UK and USA have taken the indian version of secularism for the welfare of their immigrant population-votes.
