Dear Sri Srinivasan,

Very happy to read your message. Yes, certainly I shall try to contact you when I visit Madras next. In the meanwhile you can send your 'phone Number in a private message to me.

It is my view that living in the past has no meaning. Over the years due to economic and Social pressures Tamil Brahmin Community have changed to be a dynamic society. Which I wish will continue in future also. Our progress lies in adopting to the social changes readily.

Regarding Mr. Murali's quest for getting information on Tamil Brahmins, I am afraid, to my knowledge, we have no source which may furnish authentic data required. Unfortunately most of the statistics that we get may either be exagerated or imaginative. How ever if he wants information on a particular area, we can try.
