Hello Everyone !!!
I am Pondicherry. Presently pursuing my Master in Germany. Basically a Brahmnan family. Both my parents are school teachers in my pondy. My paternal Grandfather is a retired army person and later lived in the Shankarachariyar madam with full devotion. And he is the best person whom I can inspire at my young age.
Few days ago, I was thinking about the traditional wedding ceremony and rituals of our community. Since from teen age, I am not familiar most of the mantras and other ritaul things, I decided to learn from now on. So when searching for those things I found this forum was quite interesting and really good.
Coming to the funny point of my thought of doing these all were THIRUMANAM/KALYANAM. Sounds quite good and interesting for me. I have a lot of free time here and thought of doing something really worth and memorable. So I decided to make a plan for wedding (may be in 2 or 3 years). I have planned to make a list and decide on all small things which gonna happen on this best occasion in life. Right from the small decorations till the last event at the time of wedding.
This may be really non-sense in general. But I would like to choose the best for everything and with my best wish.
