i am narayanan m.s. hailing from a village munjurpattu about 6 miles south of vellore. i was working for itc ltd., coimbatore branch for about 37 1/2 years and was in coimbatore for about 50 years. now i am in bangalore with my sons. i make it a point to visit my native village atleast once a year (although there is no vested interest there). i am 75 years old and interest in carnatic music.

my grandson participated in a programme to recite some slokas of vishnu sahasranamam with meaning. though i could recite vishnu sahasranamam (of course by referring to text) i had little or not knowledge of the meaning. i tried google search and that is how i came to know about tamilbrahmins.com. thanks to all those are involved in the website.

i also came across very interesting topics and opinions on religions/rituals etc.
