Hello every one

I am happy to be here at last! (I have been seeing this site often but overcame my inertia to register!)

I belong to the Ashtasahasram subsect hence I have added that to my name here (Otherwise Sridhar was not available).

As it happens couple of friends and I have taken up the daunting task of
1. Doing research on the origins of the Ashtasahasram subsect. There is very little material available (except some fine pictures of the Ennayiram village)
2. Create an "Ashtasahasrams Worldwide" Database of Ashtasahasram families. We think this will be a fascinating project.
The little home work that I have done during family weddings reveals amazing links and family trees expanding.
So much for my introduction now.
