my self introduction


I am S.Vaidyanathan, aged 56 years old and well settled at Bangalore for over 40 years. I am basically from Nemam Village, near Tirukattupalli on the bank of river Cauvery in Thanjavur Dt. After my schooling in Sir PS Sivaswamy Ayyar High School, Tirukattupalli, I had my PUC at National College at Tiruchirapalli. Thereafter migrated to Bangalore. I joined State Bank of India as a Clerk/Typist in 1972. I continued my education from St.Joseph's Evening College, Bangalore for B.Com., and graduated standing FIRST to the Bangalore University in May 1975 with GOLD medals. I am also a Law graduate from Renukacharya Law college, Bangalore and post graduate in Commerce from Karnatak University. I am at present serving State Bank of India as a Asst. General Manager at Bangalore. My wife Girija Vaidyanathan hails from Tiruchirapalli and basically a vocalist. She trains women in not only carnatic music but also in Slokams and bhajans at Bangalore. I am blessed with my mother's presence with me. She is 84 years old and active and healthy. I am also blessed with a daughter and a son. My daughter is B.Com, ICWA, MBA and is married and at present in USA with her loving husband and daughter aged 4 years. My son is an Engineering Graduate from RV Engg College, BAngalore and is well placed as Sr. Software Consultant at SAP LAB I P Ltd at Bangalore. He will be graduating as MBA from IIM, Bangalore by Mar, 2010. We are looking out presently for an alliance for him. God has blessed us enough and looking forward to serve the society in our further days. s.vaidyanathan
