Mum is iyengar, she had heard once from her mother in law that they are vadamas. Sadly my paternal grandparents were are sai-cultists who use the excuse that "sai baba said nithya karmas are not necessary if you have bhakti" to stop doing sandhyavandama or even devasa tarpanam. So I am faced with the reality that there is no one left who can help me with my journey.
