Namaskaram to all.

My name is Prasanna Ponnada. I am a 33 year old Telugu Smartha Brahmin who was born and raised in Andhra Pradesh. I studied my BE in Tumkur, Karnataka, and studied my MS in the USA, and worked there for a while. I am currently based out of Bangalore. I am married and blessed with a 3 year old son. I found this website while searching for a place/Guru to learn the various religious rituals that are expected of a brahmin. I am hoping that it will help me get started in learning/understanding what is involved in Vedic learning so that hopefully I can act as an example to my son and encourage my son learn Vedas. I have been reading Jagadguru Sri Chandrasekhara Saraswathi Swami's "Hindu Dharma", and I intend to follow/implement what is mentioned by him in the book. I know that I have had no Vedic learning at all, and I intend to overcome that deficiency by at least getting started with it before my son turns eight. I guess I will end my introduction here.
