I have been a resident of Anavathil, Kochi, and still recall my childhood, adolescence,my Brahmin friends, the festivals held at Thekkamadam, Vadekkemadam, Sita Kalyanam, etc. Even though greener pastures took me to the pinnacle of glory which I did not deserve, I won name, fame, friendship, and did a lot for the Society. I did have a great part in improving Indo-US bilateral trade, a small thumb in the development of Tirupur from its humble beginning to modern fame, development of the Coir and Coconut Sector in Kerala, getting Schemes approved by Planning Commission- first time ever- for the Coir Industry, etc. But all these and more, have been due to the great teachers who relentlessly coached me to attain the best, and to these revered Gurus I bow in venerance.

With fulfillment, I feel my time has come to return back to my village Allampallam, which my grandfather left 100 years ago. I will reside in Thattamangalam, at Pallimukku, very near to the Chittor river with the mighty Western ghats providing the canopy. Back to my roots where I belong. But I love my Kochi, and will always treasure its beauty, people, friends, environment, and the old houses, temples, and all.
