My name is Raghavender R Ganti born in Hyderabad, we belong to the dravida brahmin community, essentially brahmins of kumbhakonam (Velangai Man) who migrated to andhra around 400 to 500 years ago,
by kamakshi ambals grace i just got the opportunity to move to chennai, and i gladly accepted that so that i can be close to my roots and help my 3 year old son and 3 month old daughter learn their culture. I have learnt some sookthas (sri suktham, purusha sooktahm, rudram, chamakam, mantra pushpam, ganapati atharvasheeshyam, and sheekshavalli and brugu valli of taitriya upanishads) and hymns
have a strong devotion towards ambal. May this forum help me be a better person. Am glad that i joined this group
