 There are Vadhyars available in Perur but as we live in a far-off place,Saravanampatty, off Sathy road - attending classes regularly is an uphill task. Our son learnt byheart the entire Vishnu sahasranamam at the age of five. He can also recite Aditya Hridayam . Though learning the Vedas from CD/ Casette is an option, we are keen to have him learn the traditional way. The other religious institutions always offer "Summer classes". Likewise, if veda classes can be held during summer vacations in temples or some places, for 2-3 hrs , interested children ,though a handful will be benefited.
