A Book which every Hindu should read. Unfortunately very few have read it. They could not get any big publisher in U.S. It was published by Rupa and Co and has been out of print for long.


Even when there wre heated discussions about Wendy Doniger and her book recently no one seem to have remembered this book which reveals the truth.

Yet another thread has been started defending the denigration of Hinduism in the name of research.


I can post excerpts from this book to expose the false and motivated research.


But I will not because many of the things written about Hinduism, Hindu saints and Hindu Gods/Goddesses are deplorable to say the least. Na Koosum. நா கூசும்


We all know about M.F. Hussain and his paintings. There is a general mention of nude paintings. But no one has seen all the paintings. I have seen copies. If they are exhibited there would be riots all over India.


Almost all the writers want to be politically correct. That is how they get published.


And also members of this forum.


This book could not get any publisher. This is how they suppress ideas.


But Wendy Doninger's controversial book was published by Penguin and others.


Buying up books which are derogatory is very common. That is how you prevent slander. Just because the Hindus have done it does not make it suppression of freedom.


Now the Hindus have money power it is time we countered the propaganda unleashed by the pseudo scholars.


Way back when D.K was going strong they published a book called Keemayanam denigrating Rama as a drunkard and womanizer. It was supposed to be based on research into Valmiki Ramayana.


As Hinduism becomes more popular, these attacks will increase. The idea is to present Hinduism as a primitive, sex oriented religion with no redeeming features what so ever. Unfortunately there are many Hindus who will also join in the chorus.


You must read this book. Your blood would boil at many of the things said about Hinduism by the American researchers But then you would also know what we are up against and take steps to counter the slander.
