Yes, It is indeed a good gesture by the British Prime Minister Theresa May to visit the thousand year old Sri Someswara Swami Temple at Ulsoor, clad in traditional silk saree.
She looks elegant in that dress.

BTW, in Meenakshi temple, Madurai, whites are not allowed beyond a point.

Yes, The British Prime minister Theresa May had Dharsan and Arathi at the holy abode of Lord Someshvara. But no special pooja performed for her, since the visit was arranged after 3 pm.

What I liked was the way the British PM conducted herself! Truly Indian way!!
The event was not publicized much.As per the tradition the British Prime Minister entered the Temple barefoot and conducted herself in a dignified way.
