This is from one of my friends. I was not aware of this. I have had unsolicited நற்செய்தி ஊழியர்கள் knocking at my door - tell them sorry I am not interested and send them out politely. This is crossing the limits!

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mGoBrCl00oE/UUwlhubQIaI/AAAAAAAADXA/xGKdHFOmXxY/s1600/christian+poster.jpg

During February, numerous passers - by along the roads and lanes of Thiruchengode (a town in Namakkal district in Tamilnadu) were shocked by a wall poster pasted all over, that openly instigated Hindus, the Brahmins in particular, to get converted to Christianity in order to enjoy affluence. It was a brazen attempt to convert by allurement. The poster displayed V.Raja, a Brahmin looking thin and shabby in his wedding costume, and contrasted this with his plum physique after he becomes a Christian evangelist. The police had to probe the claim following complaints from over 60 citizens including a number of Hindu activists drawn from RSS, Hindu Munnani and BJP. The Police investigation pricked the bubble of lies by the Church group – It was found that Raja was not a Brahmin at all. The town CSI church secretary Peter Selvaraj had to apologize and the Church group promptly removed all the offending posters. An evangelical meet slated for March 1, 2 and 3 in the town was also banned. It is a sad story that the state government had promulgated an ordinance in 2002 banning conversions, only to announce later on election eve that it would not be enforced.

The same poster was displayed in Mylapore area some time back.

Why did the Brahmin Association not take up the matter in the court?

United we stand ,divided we fall. Off late Christian Evangelical Church funded by the Vatican is active in converting people. I think we all must now support Modiji on Anti Conversion Law to stop this. On one side it Jihad Terrorist had infiltration and on other side Evangelical Terrorist. If we Hindu's are not united then , things will be worst in next few years.

They came to my home once and started giving pamphlets. This is going beyond an extent.

The janus faced christian ngo's have now got the temerity post the change of ruler in Lanka to invite the Pope to Sri Lanka to give a fillip to conversions.

Madam,

The notice in the blogspot mentions the date as March 1, 2, 3 2013, i.e. almost 2 years ago. But why is this being reported 2 years after?

I know some ex-brahmins who are now disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, whose testimony is genuine, who are well-mannered and well-behaved, who do not go around proselytizing but only sharing their testimony and brief sermons. Excepting for their belief and faith, character and conduct, in every other way they are same; they are vegetarians, maintain cleanliness and neatness in their house, keep their house neat and tidy, speak brahmin tamil, wake up early in the morning and sprinkle water in front of their houses, apply kolam, some even apply kumkum, they continue to wear madisar at home during functions, they attend functions in relatives' place, follow tamilian traditions, observe pongal, they don't celebrate christmas or good friday or easter since these not scriptural, they emulate the Lord Jesus Christ unlike the non-brahmin-turned christian, they have their food only after taking bath etc.

It has become a fashion for the charismatics, especially the pentecostals to claim every hindu-turned-christian a brahmin convert to gain credibility and acceptance.

Should anyone approach any of you with fliers, tracts or pamphlets, just ask them if they are following the Lord Jesus or Christianity, if they know the difference between Jesus Christ and Christianity and challenge them if they follow the commandments in the Bible and ask them to explain their activities, viz celebration of their festivals based on scripture. Ask them how is the date for Good Friday determined, on what basis, why is it in March some years, and in April the other years, why is the 1st week some years, 2nd week the other year and 3rd week some other years and they would blink. Just ask them when they are not convinced about their faith, do not know why they do what they are doing, what qualifies them to preach christianity? Ask them to prove from the Bible, whatever they do in the name of christianity and they would not be able to.

Most of these tract-carrying fellows are illiterates, they are just trained to mechanically proclaim, as does a loud-speaker, what to say and they do it. They cannot answer intellectual queries.

Madam,

1)Because it is Tiruchegode! These communal and religoius senitive happening seems to be endemic An author was killed not the person today You want people with social awareness or respopnsibility to keep mum? .

2)Oh those Brahamin Christian - by choice Christians and by behaviour Brahmins? And comparing with non brahmin turned Christians have their food only after taking bath etc! And what are those etc? Sandayavandam Madyanam
sprinkling water 3 times around the banana leaf Swallow a smll quantity of the ganga jal sayin Hari! - and emulate lord Jesus -So you feel theyhe are Knowledgable informed cultered Unlike the NB Christians? You are trying to inject the cast divide of Hinduism into Christianity You can change religion but not the cast!!

It has become a fashion for the charismatics, especially the pentecostals to claim every hindu-turned-christian a brahmin convert to gain credibility and acceptance.

3)Brahmins who have changed over after a knowledgable decision are becoming Brand ambasadors ? Why for Money or else what?

Madam,

Some of the things in your post are not clear.
Because it is Tiruchegode!
So what madam if it is tiruchengode! do you mean to say it can be reported any later?

An author was killed not the person today
Who is the author killed today?

Sandayavandam Madyanam, sprinkling water 3 times around the banana leaf Swallow a smll quantity of the ganga jal sayin Hari! ....
madam, do all brahmins follow all these? how can we question others for not following when we ourselves do not observe these diligently?

You are trying to inject the cast divide of Hinduism into Christianity You can change religion but not the cast!!..Brahmins who have changed over after a knowledgable decision are becoming Brand ambasadors ? Why for Money or else what?
is this not a problem with many members of our community? don't we misinterpret and jump to conclusions? could any of us prove with evidence these allegations about being lured by money? to the extent i have investigated, the brahmin-turned-christians are not funded by any foreign missionary or agency. everyone is in a good job or business of their own. neither do they lure others by any means.

madam, my inferences are following my observations and experience in interacting with and in interrogating these people. they are not able to explain some of the intricate/cryptic elements in their scripture. they escape by saying that they will consult someone and get back to us but they never get back.

however the brahmin-turned-christians answer every query and they don't preach what they cannot explain.

Who is the author killed today?

Knowledgeable and informed seems ignorant about this

Perumal Murugan gives up writing - The Hindu

More information knwledge to the knowledgable This explains how the emotional violance is not measurable & this is exactly we are guilty of with this attitude!

BC (Brahmin turned Chritians) - however the brahmin-turned-christians answer every query and they don't preach what they cannot explain.

In maya, the killer and the killed - The Hindu

unlike the non-brahmin-turned christian, they have their food only after taking bath etc.

Dear Brahms Ji

No one in a Hindu home including Non Brahmins even takes a drop of water before brushing teeth and taking bath.

Non Brahmins too do not eat or drink before brushing teeth and taking bath...in fact many only start eating after doing the morning prayers.

This is general hygiene culture followed in Hindu homes.

Some homes also do not allow anyone to speak before they brush their teeth.

One word is missed. Brahmachari Ji = Chandru Ji = Raji Ram Ji. Now it is complete.
 What an imagination, Sir Ji??

I notified an error to Renu because she replied to you for a post by Brahmachari Ji.

And she has edited her post immediately.

BTW, Raji Ram Ji has three words! :D

Generally everyone prefer to brush their teeth immediately after waking from bed in the morning and some may even scrape their tongue with a metal/plastic tongue cleaner/scraper. This is being done to avoid ingestion of impurities that may have deposited in the tongue during overnight sleep.

Why drag Hindus here?

Hinduism preaches purity in thought, word and deed. And it is believed and practiced that cleanliness is next to godliness.

Health conscious individual will always practice hygiene and cleanliness in his personal and surrounding irrespective of the religion he belongs.

I think one Perumal Murugan's book was banned and he himself was sent out of his area. his issue looks something like this. anyway, this is not a good taste. Christians do this all over. Pope was invited by the Rajapaksha regime and present rulers didnt stop his visit out of courtesy. y see Hindus have to be open-eyed. let us assure that we the Hindus dont treat our own brethern cheeply; otherwise, they will look elsewhere let us be united - srinvasan

Theer is a big difference between IAS uma shankar's preaching and ministers and officials attending temples, pujas and homams. Hindus do not preach the way christians do. Even the noisy arnab was quelled to silence it seems by uma's verbal violence. Uma shankar's tweets are self explanatory and show his true colours magnified and accented.

Umashankar will do better to resign from his IPS if he wants to preach! He can afford to resign as his Masters pay him more!

Una shankar was ( and is) a hindu dalit, enjoyed all the benefits and privileges of reservation policies and became a christian in 2008. A few excerpts from swarjya article:

‘Kill those who indulge in homosexuality’ the poster prominently placed in the public square screamed quoting a Biblical verse. The poster also featured a cheering face of approval –the face of C.Umashankar, IAS.

Most of his prayer meetings are public displays of virulent Christian propaganda filled with apocalyptical abominations that warn the people of impending natural catastrophes passed off as a consequence of divine retribution. When disaster struck Uttarakhand, the civil servant gave an interview to a prominent Tamil tabloid close to DMK on his premonitions about impending disasters, saying that his Bibilical God is punishing the Indian Gods and that his God had warned him of such disasters. The IAS officer was categorical in his statement:
“The countdown has started for huge disasters in the world. But of all nations India is going to suffer the worst of divine retribution for it is in India that idols are worshipped.”

There are many more. Why the media is silent when christoislamists are concerned?

Here?s Why Umashankar IAS Must Be Stopped | Swarajya

Umashankar will do better to resign from his IPS if he wants to preach! He can afford to resign as his Masters pay him more!
